Our story
In 1957 Don Davis brought aviation to Henderson, Kentucky and gave wings to those who dreamed of flying.
For more than sixty years, Don Davis Aviation has stayed a family-owned and operated aviation company that believes in personal, one-on-one contact with its customers. Henderson — the gateway between the South and the Midwest — sits within hours of St. Louis, Nashville, Indianapolis and Louisville.
That personal approach is how we teach. You aren’t given a seat in a crowded classroom: training is one-to-one with our professional flight instructors, and it is practical and built around you — not a one-size-fits-all course.
Behind the flight school is a full aviation company — FBO, maintenance, aircraft management, sales and charter at Henderson City-County Airport. We train pilots in Henderson, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana, with clear explanations, good habits and safe decision-making on every flight.
