Your Discovery Flight, step by step

Before you fly
You meet your instructor at Don Davis Aviation on Henderson City-County Airport. Together you talk through the flight and walk around the airplane, checking it over the way every pilot does before every flight.

In the air
Your instructor handles the takeoff and hands you the controls once you are in the air. You fly the airplane — turns, climbs, the view over the Ohio River valley — with a Certified Flight Instructor beside you the whole time.

Back on the ramp
Back on the ground, your instructor walks you through what you did and what training from here looks like. Ask anything. There is no sales pitch waiting — the next step is yours to take when you are ready.
